For more than 1 year we have been applying to establish a branch office in Isaan Thailand (NE Thailand 12 hours car ride from Chiang Mai) to help resource and equip our teams working there. This is a been a very lengthy process including reams of paper that needed to be signed and many man hours. We are excited to say that as of this week we have officially received permission from the government to establish the office. The team already has the location picked out, furnished and ready to go so now we can put the sign up and begin processing government documents. This will streamline our administrative system and allow for us to be a “local” entity in that area; saving thousands of dollars on travel and document shipping each year. This new location will also allow us to have a base of operations/community outreach center were the team will teach professional skills and English Literacy.
