Greetings to you from Myanmar, I am very happy to know a bout you and
the ministry,
I wanted to invite you to work in Myanmar,every day many people
eat less than 1$ .many people are hungry , Many children are no
education,no going to school,Many children are no home,we need very
much your prayer and help,even me I have 30 orphans and poor
children,many time I can’t provide food regular,many time we eat once
in a day,I look after this children,feed them and sent them government
school,I can’t buy for them clothes,sleeper ,and umbrella ,we are
very much need of your help and prayer,we also don’t have our house
,we rent the house and stay ,we paid for one year, please help for our
house, thank you so much for your
concern and prayer for Myanmar people,

This “high altitude” mountainous get-away is one of our favorites in Thailand. It has the great outdoors with dozens of gardens and hikes, good food, and most importantly PEACHES. That’s right. This is the ONLY place in Thailand were you can get fresh peaches. Our days were spent with friends and family in the great outdoors, drinking peach shakes, reading, drinking more peach shakes, eating, the more shakes, then some games, a nap and more peach shakes! After 4 days of this rigorous activity we felt refreshed and well…peachy…(I apologize for the corny play on words)

Another highlight of this get-away is the nearby military camp open to tourists. Aiden (pictured) & friends spent 2 hours running through the trenches and fox holes playing on every pile of dirt and tunnel in sight. Even thought this camp is a stones-throw (literally) from Burma, it is a safe place to learn about the Thai Military history with Burma and hasn’t been and hot-spot in many years. We will remember the peach shakes and Aiden will remember the trenches.

It’s a miracle. On April 3rd our little guy turned the clock one more year! Aiden got to celebrate with a pool party, friends, and an ice cream cake. Also this month we are celebrating another big Aiden achievement…Potty Training…of which is pretty much complete. We love the savings in diapers and convenience that this new landmark offers! We can’t wait for some of you to get to meet 3 year old Aiden this summer!

Over the Songkran Holiday (Also Spring Break) Nate had the opportunity to co-host a team from College Park Indiana. The team spent a few days in Chiang Mai warming up to the consistantly 100+ degree whether then traveled 2 hours north of Chiang Mai to a Lahu Village and assisted with a family camp for 4 days. The team did games, crafts, and music (Nate had a chance to rock out on his Djembe) for hours on end. The food was amazing and the people were great. It was great to have a chance to encourage some of our Lahu Pastors and shoulder some of the burden of their outreach. It is always a blessing to be encouraged by short term teams!

By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our first EBC mobile training was March 5-9, 2012 at Meun ka Church. There were 39 full-time and part-time ministers that attended. Myself along with two teachers; Bon da leh Yeh Ao were teachers of this training. We spent 8 hours a day teaching and conducting question and answer for LCCC. Through this section many Lahu young and old Lahu Christians say that, “we never had this kind of training in the past”. Many said “I just knew that I was born know!” I led LCCC No.1 which is about being born again. After the mobile training, I went to visit and preach in 9 churches where pastor and leader are taking the LCCC. Please pray with me as I am praying and waiting for God’s provision for a new motorcycle for ministry. Without it, the ministry will fall behind schedule.

A testimony of Pastor Paul,
“I was much benefited from this mobile training, although I am a pastor but, I realized that I do not know Bible well! I am not trained and have little opportunity to attend the short Bible training. I am so thankful for this opportunity. I had learned that I need to change many things in my life. We can become a new person only when trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and serve God with my full heart. I am also learning how to feed the flock. It will be greater blessing if we could have this training yearly.”

Many more attendees say a common word “We had never had this kind of training in the past, it is a great blessings and we will do our best in obey what we had learned. We hope to have it every year.
