Schedule in April This April I plan to have a Retreat in which all of my staff will be a part of. I feel this is a very important event for our staff, BLT alumni, and other friends to be a part of. The reason I feel that it is so important is that the purpose behind the retreat is to focus on family, and if my staff are married, they are required to come as a couple. The topic …

The LCCC translation and editing from Lahu into Burmese is greatly needed, so that tens of thousands of Burmese speaking Christians are able to join in and take part in the lessons that we provide. My wife and I have planned on dedicating three to four months of our time to focus solely on editing again; we will resume this in February of 2013. As we continue to translate and edit, we still need funding of $2000 to help us …

After our second release of the monthly Bible Study magazine, I found that many BLT alumni had a hard time understanding how to use the study guide and apply it. I have been requested to spend more time with the alumni in prayer and help guide them through the magazine. Without being able to study the materials and applying scripture, the magazine is deemed ineffective for both their personal lives and ministry. I visited two places, Huai Tak Church and …

Every year from October to November the Lahu people celebrate Thanksgiving - each week in a different village! Joshua had the privilege of joining many churches as a guest preacher. It was a great time of rejoicing the harvest especially after a year of difficult times and hard work. Our God is Faithful!

The Apostle Paul said, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” (KJV) Phil. 1:3. Yes, I would like to thank my God when I think of all of you who have been a great part of the Lahu Living Word ministry for October. May love, peace and joy from our God be with you forever. Lahu Women’s Bible Conference – I was greatly touched by Psalms 133:1; David said, “How good and how pleasant it is for brethren …

LCCC report by Robert, Lihkai It had been a while since I could contact Robert who is serving in a special region for LCCC, but by the grace of God we are now able to communicate again. He is faithful in serving God; even in the times we were unable to contact each other. God is truly blessing LCCC in Thailand and Myanmar; there are now more than 1200 Lahu Christians taking lessons (EBC 400, AG 100, Lashio 200, Special …

Urgent need! The budget for the translation project of LCCC from Lahu to Burmese is higher than what I had first budgeted. The first draft of the translation (No. 1-10) is done; unfortunately we still need 35,000 THB or about $1,200 USD. I have been praying really hard that God will provide these funds for us. Please continue to pray for funding for this project. We will start the editing process starting in February 2013. I am planning on doing …

It is rare to get a majority portion of our staff and volunteers together under one roof because we are so spread out but last month we were able to get 43 of our 82 staff and volunteer together in one room for a training on using Spiritual Gifts in a team context and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a picture. These staff are representatives of 15 projects and 4 administrative departments that currently operate all over …
